our bee story
The picturesque area of Karlanda Socken is the home of our bees. In this tranquillity far from busy streets, factories and noise, our bees are buzzing and working in the most beautiful part of Värmland. The bees have been here for over 50 years under the care of Gotthart and are now slowly taken over by a new generation beekeepers.
The bees live in a surrounding of gorgeous lakes, forest, and fields full of raspberries, and wild flowers. In the autumn we harvest the honey that the bees do not need to survive the winter, and we extract the honey in an extractor. This delicious golden stream goes then without any further treatment in glass pots on their way to you.

Raw Honey
Our honey is 100% raw and organic, so no added sugar or syrup. Our honey is cold centrifuged meaning all antibacterial health benefits are preserved.

Our bees
Our hard working bees are Anika Bees. Their hives are between forests and wild flower fields.

Pollon
Our honey is a mixture of pollen from the forest and wild flowers. Surrounding our beehives we have many heather flowers, raspberry blossoms and clover.

Raw Honey benefits
Raw honey retains its nutrients and antibacterial properties and anti-fungal property. It is rich in antioxidants and contains vitamins and minerals. Raw honey has shown immune-boosting and anticancer benefits. It has also shows to boost the digestive system and has brain benefits.

Guided walks in the surrounding landscape help you settle into the rhythm of the place and create space to breathe and reflect.
You’ll be supported throughout the retreat by an experienced psychologist through daily group and/or individual sessions, as well as contact before and after the retreat to help you prepare and integrate what you gain.
